Big Vanilla Athletic Club Spring Fling 10 a.m. - 2 p.m. An open house featuring the Orioles Bird from 12:30 - 1:30 p.m. and Captain Dee-Fence from 10:30 a.m. - 12:30 p.m. Martial Arts demonstrations, open swim for the whole family in the outdoor pool, moon bounce, games, face painting and pony rides for the kids. Corkran Middle School is holding Simulated Congressional Hearings. Their 8th grade students will be participating in this event and applying their research to real cases. CMS is looking for volunteers to judge the hearings! The process is very straight forward and rubrics are provided. You can sign up for an hour at a time on Friday, May 24th. I recently attended my first Chick-fil-A Leadercast. I didn't think I had much more to learn about leadership, but I was pleasantly surprised. I got so much information about "simply leading" from dynamic and interesting speakers. I will be able to use all this information in my funeral service profession. I can't wait to attend next year's session. Thanks for providing this great experience for Chamber members.
